Zorzettig
The Zorzettig family winery is located in Colli Orientali del Friuli, one of Italy’s most treasured white wine production areas. It’s a spot protected from harsh winds by Slovenia’s Julian Alps, cool and continental, thanks to the influence of the Adriatic Sea. It is perched high atop the slopes of Spessa di Cividale.
Annalisa Zorzettig took over management of her family’s vineyard and winery in northeastern Italy a decade ago, a place with family roots dating back more than a century. At the moment, there are four different generations involved, including Annalisa, Antonietta (her mother), Veronica (her daughter) and Leonie (her granddaughter). An all-female team. The winery can rely on some of the oldest vineyards in Friuli, including some 80-year-old Malvasia vines.
