Monteci
Monteci is the antique nickname, going back five generations, given to the Leone Righetti in 1925. He envisioned this charming area of Valpolicella as the perfect place to grow vines. Today with 200HA in the best areas of the Veneto, 70 of which are in the historic area of Valpolicella and 45 in the Lugana.
The vines are located at different altitudes allowing for harvest with different characteristics due to the unique microclimates. The Righetti family continues with the passion and care for detail established by Leoni, integrating traditional methods with modern wine making techniques.
