Rodica
The family Organic wine farm is located in the heart of Slovenian Istria, in the village of Truške in Marezige, 12 km above the town of Koper. The picturesque hills are located approximately 5 km from the Adriatic sea, more specifically, the Gulf of Trieste. The soil is rich with minerals, consisting predominantly of limestone. The cellar is situated on top of a hill in the unspoiled valley of the river Dragonja.
They enjoy significant day-night temperature swings, constant breezes and stronger winds such as Mistral and Bura, which help keep the vineyards well-ventilated. Vineyards stretch along the southern slopes of the Istrian hills at an altitude of 250 to 350m. Position and climate are ideal for the growth and development of the vine and naturally healthy for organic farming.
